Sport climbing round-up as Olympic and world records smashed
In Paris 2024 Olympics, We've had a lot of great action at the Le Bourget Climbing Venue with broken seven times Olympic record and two times world record!
The women's Boulder semi-final & Lead, where defending world champion Janja Garnbret (SLO) achieve a massive score of 99.6 . She will attempt to add a Paris 2024 gold combined to the Tokyo 2020 on 10 August.
Now the men's speed qualification
In the qualification, the Olympic record was broken seven times, with Veddriq Leonardo (INA) gain the record at 4.79 seconds.
This records didn't stand for long, as Sam Watson (USA) would go even faster and set a new world record in the elimination heats - 4.75 - to the amazement of the crowd!
