Djokovic vs Alcaraz – Paris Olympics 2024 men’s singles

Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz will face off again in the men's singles final at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

The women's doubles bronze match will come first, with the match scheduled to begin at Court Philippe-Chatrier in Paris shortly after 1pm local time (11:00 GMT).

It’s the latest instalment of a fascinating old vs young rivalry that included a matchup in the Wimbledon final three weeks ago, in which the 21-year-old Spaniard Alcaraz beat the 37-year-old Serbian Djokovic in straight sets.

Djokovic has never won an Olympic gold medal in his storied career – his bronze at Beijing 2008 remains his best Olympic performance – while Alcaraz is playing in his first Olympics.
